Overview
We are in the preparation stage of our European vacation. We plan to arrive in UK late March, buy a campervan/motorhome, see family in UK for Easter then head off to tour France and Italy until late July. August will see us touring UK, maybe Scotland, then we plan to sell the van before flying back to Australia late August.

Not a bad start!
Jeez, I recognise those faces, even the half face! Sounds like you had a great farewell dinner, very disappointed we could not be there. Have a fantastic time in Europe, and while you are there please check out the bike rides through the french vineyards and the paddling down the Rhone for us, we'll do a similar trip next year stock market willing :-)

Re Arsenal match - Colin is so jealous. He says whole trip can already be deemed a success!
Re Charmouth. Holidayed there approx 20 years ago. Lovely & quiet. Hope you walked along Cob(?) at Lime Regis & pretended to be Meryl Streep.
Jane - I bumped into Tess Casiple who now has antique shop at Wilberforce. We'll go on a visit when you get back. She divides her time between here & Italy so you may bump into her there!
